Splendoria Privacy Policy

Version 1. Last updated 12 October 2026.

Splendoria is a game for iPhone. This policy says what the game's server stores when you play online, why, and for how long.

A Local Game, played by passing one phone around, is stored only on that phone. Nothing about it is sent to the server.

In short

What the server stores

Your player ID and display name

When you play online, Game Center tells the game who you are with a player ID. This ID is made for this developer's games only: it is not your Apple Account or your email address, and it can't be matched with your player ID in another developer's games.

The server uses the ID to know which Lobby or Game is yours, so that you can come back to it after closing the app or losing your connection. Under your player ID it keeps:

This record is kept for as long as the game's online service runs.

The proof of identity that Game Center gives the game is checked and not kept. The server then gives the app a sign-in token that works for 24 hours; the server keeps no copy of it.

Lobbies and Games

For each Lobby and Game the server stores its Party code, the player IDs and display names of its players, its settings, when each player was last connected, and the Game itself: the cards and tokens, and every action taken.

Your display name is sent to the other players in your Lobby or Game, so that they can see who they are playing with. Your player ID is never sent to other players.

Anonymous counters

To see whether online play is working, the server counts a few events: a Game started, a Game finished, a Game ended early, a player joined a Lobby, and the server acted late. Each count holds the time, the kind of event, and either the number of players in that Game or whether the player joined by code or by link. It holds no player ID, no name and no Party code, so it can't be traced to you or to a Game. The counters are kept without a time limit.

Logs

The server writes a short log line when something happens in a Lobby or Game, for finding faults. A line holds the kind of event, a result code, the Party code and a seat label made at random for that Game. The server's own logs hold no player ID, no name, no IP address and no sign-in token. They are kept for up to 7 days.

Cloudflare and your IP address

The server runs on Cloudflare's network. As with any internet service, Cloudflare sees your phone's IP address when the app connects. Cloudflare processes it to carry the connection and to protect the service from abuse and attacks, and keeps its own records for a limited time under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The game's server does not read, store or log your IP address.

Game Center

Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The game receives from it only the player ID and display name described above.
